Gucci: Omni Channel

While studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I had the assignment of choosing a luxury Italian retailer. I had to visit the store and compare the shopping experience to the online experience.

I’ve always loved Gucci, and had planned on buying my first ever luxury handbag from Gucci the summer I studied in Florence so I knew I was going to write about this brand. I visited the store and documented my entire experience from the lighting to the displays and to the customer service. After my visit, I went onto the Gucci website to see how the presentation compared to in the store. Throughout my research I learned a lot more about the brand’s values and sustainability efforts.
