Hi, I’m Kelly!

I’m a young professional living in Washington, D.C. with extensive experience and knowledge of the retail management industry.

In 2020, I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Media Studies. Immediately after graduation, I moved to Washington, D.C. to work with Target as and Executive Team Lead of Specialty Sales. I oversaw and led a team of over 30 people in the apparel, beauty, and electronics department. After learning so much in my first role, I was eager to try something new in order to grow even more. After one year as Specialty Sales, I transitioned into a new role as an Executive Team Lead of Human Resources. Now, I lead a team of over 150 people and use my operational background and retail knowledge to effectively staff, plan, and write a schedule for the team to be successful.

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with friends exploring D.C. I’ve always loved living in a city which is one of the main reasons I went to VCU for college. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the city life when I graduated and I don’t think I ever will be.

I’m excited to spend more time advancing my career and expanding my knowledge of the fashion industry.
