Our group had to begin by researching the brand and figuring out who the Ellender girl was and who we thought she could be. We believed the brand’s ideal consumer was an easy-going, well traveled millennial interested in trendy foods and activities that she could go to and from without changing her outfit. We pulled inspiration from our own camera rolls as well as magazines and found images that spoke to us including architecture, coastal and botanical aesthetics, and powerful quotes. From there, we pulled our color palette and created patterns from the shapes we saw within these images. Finally, we began sketching our designs and brought them to life.
