Sustainable Fashion Color Palette

As sustainable fashion grows more and more popular, it is important to invest in pieces that will last throughout multiple seasons due to the changing weather patters. This includes not only durable fabrics, but versatile colors as well.

With the idea that consumers will be spending more on less and less will be more, the color palette should be subtle. Seasonless fashion because of unpredictable weather patterns will require neutral, earthy tones that can be worn throughout the year. To pair with neutral colors, a range of blues and a green that will add a pop of color while still being versatile. Brighter colors will help bring life to more simple styles. Because this color palette is simple and practical, it will attract color loyals who stick with colors they are comfortable with and can wear often.

With a driving urge to live sustainably, consumers will start to purchase more eco-friendly options when it comes to their clothing. Garments made of recycled, regenertaged, or eco-conscious materials will become the new normal. Fabrics such as recycled cotton, and econyl are starting the trend off by taking waste products and turning them into workable fabrics. By using recently found technologies we will be able to create fabrics that have less effects on our environment. Also, choosing natural cellulose fibers that actually give back to the soil, and have a less negative effect on their surroundings: such as hemp, and linen.
